Andrzej Piaseczny, also known as Piasek (In Polish, Piasek means Sand) is a Polish pop singer, television personality and actor. He is one of the most well known male singers in Poland.

He was born on 6 January 1971 in Pionki. He graduated from the Maria Dąbrowska High School in Pionki with a degree in biology and chemistry, and after that, he began studying music education. During his studies, he worked on a farm in Sweden.
For most of Piasek's career, the media has been interested in his private life. In the 90s, his partner was a woman named Mirosława, with whom he took part in a photo shoot for the biweekly "Viva!" and with whom he raised her sons, but in 2021, he publicly announced that he was gay, confirming suggestions in the press about his homosexual orientation.

In 1992 he won the National Youth Song Review in Wrocław, thanks to which he was qualified to participate in the "Debuts" concert at the Opole Contest. Soon after he became the vocalist of the band Mafia.
He represented Poland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2001 with the song 2 Long. With 11 points, he placed 20th, resulting in Poland being relegated the next year. Andrzej also earned the Barbara Dex Award as the worst-dressed artist of the 2001 contest, because of the fur he wore during the performance.
He has won four Superjedynka awards, a Fryderyk, a Telekamera and an Eska Music Award. He is also known for playing in a popular television series "Złotopolscy", for which he performs the theme song.
He is also recognised for being a judge in several editions of The Voice of Poland.
