Andrey Hovnanian, known professionally as André, is an Armenian singer. He started writing songs at the age of nine and began his music career at the age of 15 when he won a music competition. He has also been the lead vocalist of Armenian band Karabahk.
He was selected as his country's first representative in the 2006 Contest in Athens, finishing in eighth place. To date he has released seven studio albums.
He was the spokesperson for the Armenian jury at the 2013 Contest in Malmö.
