Amanece (It's Dawning) was the Spanish entry at the Eurovision Song Contest 1972 in Edinburgh performed by Jaime Morey.
The song is a ballad in which Morey sings to his former lover. "It's dawning/But it seems like the sky became grey for us/Because of the sad moment when I heard your goodbye". Morey asks if they can "start all over again", and together find "a place beyond the sea/Where the day shines brighter in the dawn"
It was performed fourth on the night following Ireland and preceding the United Kingdom. At the close of voting, it finished in 10th place with 83 points.
