Agnete Johnsen, sometimes simply known as Agnete, is a Norwegian singer and songwriter who is best known for being the leader of the punk band The BlackSheeps, which won the junior version of Melodi Grand Prix in 2008. They finished runner-up to Stella Mwangi at Melodi Grand Prix 2011 and broke up soon after.
In 2014, she won the tenth season of Skal vi danse, the Norwegian version of Dancing with the Stars.
She represented Norway as a soloist at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm with the song Icebreaker, winning Melodi Grand Prix 2016 with nearly triple the total number of votes of her nearest competitor. However, she was unable to advance from the second semifinal, finishing in 13th place.
